NEWSPAPER AGREEMENT
PROPRIETORS AND WORKERS INSURANCE FOR EMPLOYEES (Official Wireless) (Received Sept. 3. 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 2 “Volunteers” are now producing national newspapers during the air raids, as a result of an agreement between the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association and the Printing and Kindred Trades Federation. The Newspaper Proprietors’ Association, in return, is financing an insurance scheme providing compensation to employees or to the relatives of those killed or injured while working.
