General situation: Pressure Is rising rapidly in the south behind a trough advancing over the Dominion. An Intense anti-cyclone Is centred over Tasmania.
Forecast: Moderate to fresh winds from between west and south; weather becoming cool, changeable and showery; seas rather rough on the west coast, alight to moderate on the east.
