PERFORMERS’ CLUB
VARIED PROGRAMME A varied and interesting programme was presented by members of the Hamilton Performers’ Club before a large attendance in Mr G. Kingston’s studio on Saturday night. Mr W. Whitehead supplied the music for dancing. The programme was as follows: Banjo solos, E. Lee; vocal solos, J. Tonkin and Miss A. Storey; musical tableau, “The Volga Boatmen,” produced by Mr R. Pedrotti, with the following players:—Messrs M. Burdis, R. Pedrotti, I. Clark, E. Etheridge, S. Carroll and L. Dreadon; sketch, “The Words of the Poet,” produced by Mr M. Burdis and cast as follows:—Messrs A. Cope, D. Reid, J. Churton and R. Pedrotti. Those present were:—• Mescjames A. Cope, W. Whitehead, H. D. Curling, F. Greer, A. Storey, W. H. Clark, B. Henderson, H. Braithwaite, R. Pedrotti, E. Etheridge. Misses Phil Kear, E. King, Ruth Carbon, Rosalie Seddon, Joy Duncan, Mary Duncan, M. Edmonds, Leonie Swarbrick, Karin Hoskins, Jean Hewitt, Joy Sanford, Alma Sanford, Shirley Burton, Merlyn Hurdegen, Alison Storey, Oonagh Baker, Gwyneth Powell, Rae Melrose, Patty Blake, Phyllis Torphy.
