SUCCESSFUL EVENING
NATIONAL CLUB FUNCTION Bowls of Iceland popples, flowering currant and rhododendron were arranged in charming profusion in the rooms of the National Club on Saturday night, when many members of the club attended a social evening of dancing and cards. The winners of the bridge prizes were Miss Phair and Mr R. Somerville. and Mrs W. Hirst and Mr W. G. Dobbie were successful in the five hundred tournament. The guests were received by the hostess for the evening, Mrs H. Finlayson, who was in a gown of leaf brown georgette with a flame corsage spray. Those present were:—Mesdames K. Duxfield, D. D.
