ANNIVERSARY OBSERVED DEFENCE FORCE PARADES (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sunday The 26th anniversary of the landing of New Zealand troops in Samoa was observed at Apia on Thursday, states a Press Association message I from Apia. The acting-Administrator, Mr A. ] C. Turnbull, delivered an address. The Hon. Faalavaau, Samoan member of the Legislative Council, spoke J for the Samoan people. The Samoan L defence force, under Colonel W. . Carrol Harley, paraded together with ’ the police force, under Chief- , Inspector Braisby. The Administrator inspected the forces and took . the salute.
