An additional £ISOO has been contributed to the Cyprus fighter plane fund, through the Cyprus Post fund launched in June, and £2580 had been collected by July 11,

It is reported that the British communities in Istanbul and Smyrna are raising funds with a view to the colonies in each town offering a plane to Britain.

The Legislature of the Barbadoes has placed at the disposal of the British Government, free of interest, for use in any manner desired, all investments on behalf of the colony’s reserve. Lord Lloyd has telegraphed deep appreciation of the offer.
