ALARM IN BERLIN
CLAIM BY GERMANY PREVENTION OF BOMBING NO APPRECIABLE DAMAGE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrig-nt) (Received September 2, 11 a.m.) BERLIN, September 1 An air raid alarm was sounded at four minutes past midnight. The police say that anti-aircraft fire prevented the bombing of the city. A few bombs fell on the outskirts. There was no appreciable damage.
