Her son-in-law, Prince Bernhard, will represent her at various ceremonies organised by Dutch resi - dents in London to-day. Among the official messages received by Queen Wilhelmina is one from the Government of the Union of South Africa. General Smuts and his colleagues express the sympathy of the people of South Africa with the Queen in the calamity which has so undeservedly struck her and her people in the Netherlands. The First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr A. V.
