DROP IN REVENUE

CUSTOMS AT WELLINGTON FIGURES FOR EIGHT MONTHS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Saturday Net customs revenue at Wellington last month was £267,976, which was £57,809 less than for August last year. A drop is shown in everything but tyres, which are up by £2591. The total for the eight months is £2,282,843, compared with £2,416,290 for the eight months of 1939. The totals for the first five months of the financial year are £1,529,160 and £1,923,727 respectively.
