FATAL ACCIDENT

MOTORIST FOR TRIAL (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) WHANGAREI, Friday On a. charge of negligently driving a motor-car, thereby causing death, Albert Julius Petersen, farmer, of Maungatapere, who pleaded not guilty in the Whangarei Court today, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Messrs G. H. Morrish and H. C. Hemphill, J.’sP., allowed bail of £IOO. The charge arose out of an accident at Maungatapere, in which George Alfred Lyddiard was killed and Peter Wera Wellington was injured.
