Britain is looking to New Zealand herds for increased production of essential foodstuffs to help her in the fight against Nazi Germany. The picture shows a typical Waikato herd of grade Jersey cows. The drive for increased production of cheese in this district is meeting with success despite difficulties and it is evident that Waikato herds will supply the bulk of the 15,000 extra tons of cheese required by the Mother Country.
