FAREWELL PARTY
OFFICERS ENTERTAINED In order that many of the friends they have made during their stay at Hopu Hopu camp could bid them farewell, officers of the Ist Field Regiment N.Z. Artillery were the guests of honour at a delightful party given in their honour at the residence of Mr and Mrs O. J. Tuck, Ngaruawahia. The rooms were gay with bowls of Iceland poppies, freesias and daffodils. The evening was spent in playing bridge, competitions and community singing. Miss Dorothy Tuck wore forest green crepon with silver lame. Among those present were:—Mesdames H. Pickering, K. M. Wright, A. Small, T. Paterson, J. D. Joy, A. Cameron, H. Sodersten. Misses E. Gerrard, E. Ensor, B. Ensor, P. Smith, I. Thomson, N. Wright.
