Molotoff received Dr. Gafencu, giving certain assurances regarding Russian-Rumanian relations. Fresh frontier incidents include the shooting down of a Rumanian plane by three Soviet planes at Barlad, twenty miles within Rumania. All Rumanian troops’ leave has been stopped and reservists have been called up.
