AUGUST APPRAISEMENT AVERAGE £l2 10s a BALE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Thursday Results of the winter wool oddments appraisal held in Auckland in August are released by Mr Connor, secretary of the Auckland Woolbrokers’ Association. The number of bales was 3985 and the net weight 1,463,4791 b. The total value of the wool was £49,813 6s Bd, the average per bale £l2 10s, and per lb 8.17 d.
