ADVANCE PAYMENTS
TWO MONTHS’ SUPPLIES SAME AS LAST YEAR Advance payments to dairy company suppliers in the South Auckland area for the months of August and September will be the same as for the opening months of the dairying season last year, as a result of a decision made at a meeting of the South Auckland Dairy Association to-day. The rates are Is 2d a lb for finest grade butter-fat for butter making and Is 3sd a lb for first grade butterfat for cheese manufacture. It was agreed that owing to the uncertainty regarding shipping, it would be a mistake to fix the advance payments for longer than two months.
