ITALIAN BASE BOMBED SEVERAL HEAVY ATTACKS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 23, 3.15 p.m.) ADEN, Aug. 22 The Royal Air Force heavily bombed the Italian air base at Dessie. Direct hits were made on the aerodrome and buildings. All our planes returned. Heavy attacks were also made on hangars and the rail-way station at Diredawa. Direct hits were observed One of our planes was shot down.
