POSITIONS OPEN SHORTLY ADVERTISEMENTS TO APPEAR INTIMATION IN PARLIAMENT (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday When the House of Representatives met this morning the question of the appointment of women police in the Dominion was raised by Mr S. G. Holland (Opposition—Christchurch North), who asked the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, who is Mimster in Charge of Police Department, whether he could give any indication of the approximate date v/hen women police would be appointed. Mr Fraser said he could answer the question immediately, and intimated that advertisements calling for applications for positions would appear shortly.
