HAPPY INGLESIDE
CALEDONIAN SOCIETY At a special ingleside of the Morrinsville Caledonian Society held in the Civic Theatre, Morrinsville, recently, the Mayor, Mr W. HetheringI ton, made a presentation of wellequipped leather holdalls, suitably inscribed, to three Morrinsville men who have joined the Naval Division of New Zealand’s armed forces, Messrs J. Cooper, B. Sharp and D. Glasscock. Presentations on behalf of the society were made by the chief, Mr W. G. Dunbar. There was a record attendance and the following programme was much enjoyed:— Selection, the band; Highland reel, Iris Clothier, Lui Sharp, Doris Everett, and Eileen Houlihan; songs, Mrs Stewart; tap dance, Valerie Trotter; cornet duet, Messrs Shoston and jßyrnie; Sean Truibhais, Irish Jig, and Highland Fling, Misses D. Clothier, T. Sharp, E. Houlihan, D. Everett, Y. Clements, R. Wilcox and E. Holdcroft; songs, Mrs Hallen.
