This offering, it will be noted, very largely comprises two-year-old bulls, which are in short supply this season, and are bred from the best strains imported to the Dominion in recent years. They are bred to the best Island and American blood and are all from families which are the most prepotent in the N.Z. Stud Book. Bulls from “ Meadowland ” Stud have a very wide reputation for their breeding qualities and it is claimed that this is one of the choicest lines ever offered from the Stud. “ Meadowland ” has imported no fewer than nine great sires.
