ANXIETY OF GERMANY DESIRE FOR QUIETNESS -4 ORDERS TO HUNGARY (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 21 The Belgrade correspondent of the Daily Mail says Germany is reported to have ordered Hungary at all costs to continue the negotiations with Rumania concerning Transylvania. The Germans are believed to be so anxious to maintain quiet in the Balkans that they have influenced the Italians to confine their anti-Greece campaign to the newspapers and radio. Three factors are stated to be influencing Berlin. They are the failure of the air offensive against Britain, the late Balkan harvest, and the Axis suspicion of Russia regarding future spheres of interest in the Balkans.
