AFTERNOON AT MATANGI

The Matangi branch of the Red Cross Society held its bring and buy social afternoon in the hall recently. Mrs J. Ranstead, senr., the president, welcomed the large number of members and visitors present. Competitions were won by Mrs E. Brown, Mrs J. Ranstead and Miss M. Shaw. Good business was done at the various stalls and altogether the function j - )roved most successful, the sum of £ll being raised.
