NAZI PLANE LOSSES ANTIAIRCRAFT FIRE RESULTS ACHIEVED & (Official Wireless) (Received Aug. 21, 1 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 20 Air Ministry communiques received on Tuesday evening up to 11 p.m. show that seven enemy aircraft were destroyed in air fights otfer Britain today. They also stated that the Nazi bombers and fighters shot down by anti-aircraft guns during Sunday’s air battles number 23. The German losses on that day were therefore 152. Anti-aircraft gunners also shot down an enemy flying-boat off the north-east coast shortly before midnight.
