AMERICAN SHIP’S STORY ACTION BY MEXICANS BOARDED BY ARMED FORCE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 20, 3.15 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 19 The American freighter Herman Frasch radioed all l United States naval and commercial stations the following message: “Stopped and boarded at 3.20 p.m. by a Mexican gunboat 70 miles north-west of Agapulco. Not allowed to proceed. Now being boarded by armed forces.” The message did not indicate the reasons for the act.
