Copyright) (Received August 20, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, August 19 A communique issued at Cairo on Monday states: “After fighting a brilliant rearguard against picked Italian formations, supported by tanks, artillery and aircraft, in overwhelming strength, all the British Force in Somaliland was successfully evacuated from Berbera last night.”
