AIR RAID ALARMS
SOUNDED IN SWITZERLAND (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) BERNE, August 19 Anti-aircraft batteries went into action after an air raid alarm. Basle, Zurich and Geneva also had raid alarms.
A Rome message says the alarm at Berne was due to a formation of British aeroplanes flying southward. Northern Italy was raided again i last night by the Royal Air Force, states the Rome radio. The areas attacked included Milan and Turin.
