MOASCAR CUP CONTEST (By Telegraph.—press Association) PALMERSTON N. ? Monday The quadrangular tournament for the Moascar Cup at Palmerston ! North resulted in a win for Palmerston North Boys’ High School, which i beat St. Patrick’s (Silverstream) by 6 points to 3 in a thrilling final. In the other game, Te Aute College beat ! Mount Albert Grammar School by j 24 points to 14. QUADRANGULAR TOURNEY (By Telegrapn.—Press Association) NELSON, Monday Nelson won the inter-collegiate Rugby tournament by beating j Wanganui 7—o in the final. The ! Nelson forwards were smaller, but : it was their fine play which proved • the deciding factor. The wooden spoon went to Christ’s College, which was defeated by Wellington, 12—5.
