POULTRY, BUTTER AND EGGS THE AUCKLAND MARKETS AUCKLAND, Saturday The following prices were realised at the city markets:— Poultry.—Cockerels, heavy breeds, prime, 7s to 8s each; not prime, 5s to 6s; light, prime, 5s to 7s; not prime, 3s to 3s 6d; fat hens, heavy, 5s to 6s; light, 3s 9d to 4s 6d; drakes, young, prime, 4s to ss; smaller, 2s to 3s; cockerel chicks, heavy breeds, 3d; light, Id.
