They ran" their first three in 4 1 4-5 s and Kelly, who was mi the outer, gave a good display, while Bronze Fire also pleased. Prival Brazilian. Sir Cameron and Rex Maitland’were in that order at the end of live rurlongs In 1.9 1-5. They ran the first two rurlongs in 25 4-5 s and Prival and Brazilian both handled the going in great style. The Trimmer strode over a round in 1.5 1 2-5 s. Tutor was hitting out freely at the end of five furlongs In 1.13 2-5 and Miss Bridge and Veyanna traversed six rurlongs In 1.25 1-5, the rormer finishing in flint after running three rurlongs in 4 1 3-ss. Miss Valerie completed six rurlongs In 1 26. She was stopping slightly at the finish. Royal Message and Flying Jay were also tiring' at the end or five rurlongs run in 1.10 1-5. Hot Shot Over Six Hot Shot strode over six furlongs In 1.3 n and Rara Avis reeled off hair-a-mlle In 55 s. Boompsadaisy came home from the five furlong post in 1.12, showing good speed over the early part. Bright Idea and Blde-a-AVee did strong work over a round but were not doing better than 1 5s to the furlong. Valspear and Bronze Emerald, after commencing slowly over a round, ran seven furlongs in 1.40 1-5. There was little between them at the finish. White Mark compu ted five furlongs In 1.12 2.-5 and Golden Bonnet and Rlngshot did half-a-rnile in 56 2-ss. Over a similar distance Mia Regina and Phaleron took 57s and they were doing it comfortably. Phil Yaals cantered round to the halfmile and came home in 53 2-55. Stratford and Goldraee (Vaughan) ran their last three rurlongs In 455. Valmint and Silver Glow’ went well throughout six furlongs in 1.24, the first three taking 4is. Sebrof and Happicoai took 1.10 3-5 Tor five furlongs, arter running the first two In 27 2-SS. Tristrain Shandy strode over half-a-mile in 58s and Odtaa completed half-a-mlle In 56 4-ss. On. the sand Mahala did useful work over several rounds. J.ovelilt, who arrived last night from Gisborne, aslo worked over a round on the sand. She looks in capital order. Silver Wattle was sent over a round of the steeplechase rourse and gave a very satisfactory exhibition.
