PROGRESS AT TE AWAMUTU j (Special to Times) TE AWAMUTU, Friday. ! There was a fair attendance at the 1 annual meeting or the Te Awamutu Tennis Club. Mr R. F. Armstrong presided. It was decided to fix the annual subscription at £i is for men 12s 6d for women, and £1 10s For married couples. Junior subscriptions were fixed at 10s for men under 18, and 7s 6d lor women under that The president mentioned that £76 had been expended last year in laying down a new court and improving the others. Sunday tennis had proved popular and would be continued. Financially the club was sound, thanks to the efforts or tlia social committee.
