SYMPATHY WITH GREECE BRITISH NAVY’S MESSAGE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrlgnt) (Received August 17, 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 16 The First Lord of the Admiralty sent the following telegram to the Minister of Marine at Athens: “It is with the greatest regret that I have heard that the cruiser Helle, while taking part in ceremonies of the Festival of the Assumption, was sunk by a submerged submarine. On behalf of the Board of the Admiralty and officers and men of the Royal Navy I wish to express profound sympathy with the Royal Greek Navy.”
