RAID ON ALEXANDRIA
ENEMY DROPS BOMBS ONE KILLED, FOUR INJURED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 17, 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 16 A Cairo commtfnique states that there was a two-hour raid on Alexandria and neighbourhood last night. A few aircraft dropped bombs, causing neglibible material damage. One person was killed and four injured. Sir James .Hutchison and Lady Hutchison, Dunedin, who have been spending a holiday at Tnuranga, are a; Hamilton on their return south.
