SPECIAL FORECAST (By GcvarnmeDt Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley Is as follows: General situation: Pressure is low near Chatham islands and high over Australia while weak secondary disturbances continue to cross the Dominion. Forecast: Light to moderate southerly to westerly winds predominating; weather mainly Tair and cool, but some showers, chlaflv in the King Country; seas moderate in the west, slight in the east.
