CLAIMS BY ITALY

FIGHTING IN SOMALILAND CHARGES AGAINST BRITAIN SWISS NEUTRALITY ABUSED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) ROME. August 14 A communique reports a continuance of fierce fighting in British Somaliland east of Adadleh, and claims that Italian movements are developing despite strong opposition. Enemy planes, coming from Switzerland, carried out a raid over Northern Italy and dropped bombs and leaflets. Fifteen bombs were dropped on Turin. The official news agency states that British pilots deliberately violated Swiss neutrality in this morning’s raids on Italy, entering Italy via Geneva and other Swiss points. It adds that the Swiss are investigating and intend to protest strongly.
