MEAT BOARD ELECTION
POSTAL BALLOT RESULT (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday The result of a postal ballot conducted for electing delegates to represent the various districts on the electoral committee, which will meet in Wellington on August 29 and 30 to consider the annual report and statement of accounts of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board and to elect two producers’ representatives on the board, was announced today.
The full personnel of the electoral committee is:—Auckland: Messrs F. C. Johnstone (Waitetuna), A. B. Moore (Whangarei), H. W. Upton (Ngaruawahia). Gisborne: Messrs T. le C. Powdrell (Wairoa), S. D. Reeves (Gisborne). Hawke’s Bay: Messrs G. J. Buchanan (Dannevirke), C. R. Edgecombe (Hatuma), J. Graham (Hastings). West Coast: Messrs J. R. L. Hammond (Rata), J. Knight (Feilding), A. Macnab (Wanganui), L. B. Wall (Kairanga). Wairarapa: Messrs W. A. loms (Martinborough), A. McDonald (Hinakura). Marlborough, Nelson and Westland: Mr H. J. Stace (Spring Creek). North and MidCanterbury: Messrs A. M. Carpenter (Femside), R. G. Gerard (Rakaia), E. S. Taylor (Amberley). South Canterbury: Mr H. B. S. Johnstone (Otaio). Otago: Messrs D. H. Cockburn (Queenstown), W. Doig (Papakaio), J. D. Revie (Heriot). Southland: Messrs G. A. Hamilton (Lumsden), E. K. Sim (Pukemaori), H. Smith (Waikaka Valley).
