HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT (Special to Times.) OTOROHANGA, Thursday. The Otorohang-a Town Hall was crowded on Tuesday night when the Otorohang-a District High School presented its annual concert. Proceeds went to assist the funds required for additions to the dental clinic. The performances were of a high order, and consisted of solos, class songs, playlets, dancing, sketches and drill exhibitions. The gross takings were £57 9s 6d, which will provide approximately £52 lor the clinic funds. The headmaster, Mr Claude Hotson, thanked the parents and the public for their patronage. Dog Population Approximately 1450 dogs are registered each vear in the Otorohanga County, acdirig to a gtitement made at the last meeting of the council, when prices were considered for that number or dog collars. Personal Items Mr M. Lynn Wilson, formerly of Otorohanga. now a surveyor In New Guinea, is on six months’ furlough. He is the guest of his sister, Mrs Tarrant, or Waitomo Caves. Mr Wilson’s father, Mr Andrew Wilson, was one of the first surveyors in tlie King Country, and subdivided tbe site for Otorohanga, ns well as many large blocks of Crown lands. Mr and Mrs M. J. Ililder, or Otorohanga, are spending a convalescing holiday at Takapuna. ___
