Clocks Show Variation

When an application for permission to erect a clock on a verandah in the town came before the Hamilton Borough Council last night, it was decided to seek the borough solicitor’s opinion as to the council’s powers in respect to the control of electric clocks. Mr T. G. Reynolds, in moving the motion, said there was a large number of clocks around the town, but their time was never uniform. Something should be done to keep them in order.
