IMPORT AND EXPORT BANK BIG INCREASE IN CAPITAL (United Press Assn.—fclec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 15, 3.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 The House of Representatives’ Banking Committee approved by 15 to 6 votes an increase of 500,000,000 dollars in the Import and Export Banks’ capital. It also granted the Reconstruction Finance Corporation 1,000,000,000 dollars additional borrowing power for national defence.
