HAMILTON BRANCH

PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Hamilton branch of the Plunket Society was held in the rooms, recently, at which the president, Mrs N. E. Blomfield, presided. The following nurses’ reports for July were tabled:—Hamilton: Visits to rooms, adults 773, babies 743, children 30, total 1546; new cases 27, visits to homes 122. Frankton: Visits to rooms, adults 230, babies 214, older children 14, total 458; new cases 18, visits to homes 63. Raglan and Te Mata: Visits to rooms, adults 21, babies 18, older children 4, total 43; new cases 1. It was proposed to hold the annual flower day on September 6, and gifts of flowers, cakes, produce and preserves will be most acceptable and may be left at the Plunket rooms on September 5 and 6. Mrs Blomfield gave an account, which was very interesting, of the opening of the Centennial Memorial Plunket Rooms-at Ngaruawahia
