I.OCHIEL CLUB CLOSED CLUB TOURNEY Owing to the annual match with Matamata Club not being played at the week-end a closed club tournament was arranged and it proved very popular, good entries being received. B Grade.—Medal, best nett, T. Lorimer; afternoon bogey, H. McLisky; morning Stableford, F. Cramp. C Grade.—Best medal, G. Benge. Mr A. Ensoll’s trophy for the best Stableford over 36 holes went to F. Cramp with 70 points.

Miss Fuszard, Miss Carr v. another. Last Week’s Results The following are the results of the matches played during the weekend:—Stableford bogey for the Ensoll Trophy, Mrs P. Lee, 31 points, Mrs Lovell and Mrs C. Baker 28 points. Good scores in the medal round were. —Mrs Ensoll 102—33, 69; Mrs Lee 99—26, 73, Mrs Lovell 104—30, 74. Mrs Lee holds the Sole Button for the week, and Mrs Ensoll holds the junior button. The Captains versus Vice-captains match was played during the weekend and resulted in a win for the vice-captain’s team. Playing for the Challenge Cups the holders, Mrs S. Bennett and Mrs W. A. Scarfe, were successful in retaining the cups, playing against Miss P. Seccombe, and Mrs B. Bennett.
