APPRAISAL COMPLETED

CRUTCHINGS AND ODDMENTS PROSPECTS FOR NEW CLIP (By Telegraph.—special to Times) AUCKLAND, Wednesday The task of appraising approximately 4000 bales of crutchings and oddments at the Parnell wool stores required less time than expected, the six appraisers finishing their work yesterday. Two days had been allotted for Auckland. Although the offering consisted chiefly of crutchings and lambs’ wool, a few bales of freshly-shorn wool from wethers was included. The proportion of new season’s wool was only small, but according to Mr B. J. Marquet, chairman of the Auckland Woolbrokers’ Association, the manner in which wool now being examined at the stores had opened up augured well for the new clip.
