• NEW ZEALAND MESSAGE SENT BY PRIME MINISTER (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday The following telegram has been sent by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, to the Australian Prime Minister, Mr Menzies:— “My colleagues and I have been deeply shocked to learn of the air disaster and tragic loss of Messrs Street and Fairbairn, Sir Henry Gullett and Lieutenant-General Sir Brudenell White. Will you please accept and convey to the relatives our most sincere sympathy.”
