RAIDS ON BRITAIN 100 NAZI PLANES ENGAGED LITTLE DAMAGE DONE United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyrig-ht) (Received August 14, 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 13 This morning’s air battle lasted nearly an hour. Over 100 enemy planes were engaged, including 35 Dornier bombers and a formation of Messerschmitt fighters. A number of bombs fell, but there were no casualties and little damage. Seven enemy planes so far are reported to have been destroyed.
