ASSISTANCE FROM AMERICA (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) WASHINGTON, August 11 The Red Cross announces plans for the emergency mobilisation of blood donors.
New York City will furnish thousands of litres of blood for the British Red Cross, in response to an urgent appeal from Britain.
