CHANGE TO EVENINGS

BUSINESS MEN’S PRAYERS DAY ATTENDANCE FALLS OFF The monthly meeting of the Hamilton Ministers’ Association was held yesterday at St. Aidan’s Church. The Rev. H. G. Gilbert presided over a representative gathering. There was some discussion regarding the business men’s prayer meeting, held each Wednesday in the Chamber of Commerce room. This had been organised by the association at the request of certain business men, but from the point of numbers had not been the success expected. It was decided therefore to discontinue the meetings and arrange instead a united prayer meeting on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the evening. These evening meetings had been highly successful in the past, and the time would be more suitable.
