PERSONAL
Mr H. Salmon, bandmaster of the Whangarei Municipal Band, received a presentation at the annual meeting of the band, on his completion of 52 years’ service as a bandsman. Mr Salmon has been a member of the Whangarei Band for 16 years, and prior to this he was with the Waihi Federal Band, the Raglan Band, which he established, and was bandmaster of the Hamilton Band.
