LARGE NAVAL BASE IN THE HAWAIIAN AREA (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Aug. 10, 1.30 pun.) HONOLULU, Aug. 9 The Navy is planning the largest naval aviation base in the Hawaiian area, a 2700-acre airport at Oahu Island, to supplement the Ford Island field at Pearl Harbour.
