BENEFITS LAST QUARTER INCREASE OVER LAST YEAR Benefits amounting to £1,523,468 have been paid from the Social Security Fund in the first three months of the current financial year. Receipts in the first three months were £3,865,773, made up as follows: Social security charge, £2,845,355; registration levy, £89,100; penalties for late payments, £4677; fines, £B3; miscellaneous. £5: transfer from Consoliated Fund. £400.000; balance at beginning of year, £523.301; receipts due to Employment Promotion Fund. £2652. Total receipts in the same period of last year were £3,324,502.
