GUN DOG TRIALS
DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP (By Telegraph.—Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Saturday The Dominion Gun Dog Championship Trials were held today in ideal weather. There were 21 entries in the North and South Islands’ Championship. Results of the first section (land trial) were: T. Pasco’s Cowanlca Major and M. Pasco’r Zcda. 8. points, equal, 1; W. E. Hazlett’s King. 87. 3; P. Hennessey’*- T re ? ;,r. 4; S. Lindsay’s Lock. 81, in tr. run-off Cowanlea Major won *l,l, c trophy.
