MINE SWEEPERS LOST
39 BRITISH VESSELS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 10, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, August 9 It is authoritatively stated that the mine-sweeper losses since the outbreak of the war have been 39, including the casualties at Dunkirk. Six or seven fleet sweepers were lost. The remainder were trawlers and drifters.
