BAHRAM SOLD
BOUGHT BY AMERICANS SOLD FOR £40,000 An American breeders’ syndicate has bought Bahram for £40,000. According to a cabled report several days ago Bahram had been bought for £40,000 by the British Bloodstock Agency for a New Zealander but the report was later denied. Bahram was unbeaten champion of the English turf in J 934 and 1935, winning nine races and stakes aggregating £43,086. He was then retired to the stud at a fee of 500 guineas.
